From Connections to Circles: My Word of the Year Journey
As 2025 winds down, I’ve been reflecting on the word that shaped so much of my work and heart this last quarter of the year: Connections.
This year, I witnessed the power of intentional connection; not just networking, but truly seeing and hearing one another. Whether it was in coaching conversations, mentoring sessions, or spontaneous Zoom chats, I saw how connection builds trust, belonging, and momentum. It reminded me that when we connect with curiosity, we create space for transformation.
And now, as I look ahead to 2026, my new word of the year is taking shape: Circles.
Not just any circles – but campfire circles. Cozy, intentional spaces where stories are shared, sparks are lit, and relationships deepen. Circles where we gather not to perform, but to be present. To listen. To learn. To widen our perspectives and our possibilities.
